Harvest Updates, Monday May 16th

Bok Choy, Seri and Loquats
Lettuce and Perilla
Strawberries, one for freezing, one for fresh eating and another for jam (by quality)
New Zealand Spinach, Bok Choy, Lettuce, Cucumber, Zucchini and Strawberries
Blue Basil for drying
I see a dancing pair of fat legs; lettuce and zucchinis
Strawberries, Swiss Chard, Yu Choy and Lettuce

That blue basil is really something. I've never seen it before.

I got the blue basil as a gift from a bee-keeping friend, and it's truly amazing. It attracts tons of bees! This winter's frost killed most of them except one that was in the warm north corner away from the chilling wind. It is normally a perennial in this area, but this past winter was harsh.
