Is it a black nightshade or a garden huckleberry?
It's a volunteer plant that sprouted under my persimmon tree. I don't know if I should just yank it or not. It has small white flowers shaped like a tomatoes' blossom.
I have that popping up in my yard too from time to time, I don't know what its called but a teacher once said it was poisonous and I just took that at face value. :)

I wouldn't keep it--there are too many poisonous members of the nightshade family to keep something you're not sure about.
Thanks Christina, I'll just yank it, plus it's very infested with aphids & some kind of leaf rolling catepillars now, so it's not attractive at all.
